Structure of Our MCR/MCU Mill Circuit Underflow Pump

Base
Function: The pump casing carries all other components of the pump and provides a path for liquid flow. It is the core parts of the pump to protect other parts from wear.
MDR(Rubber liner): It is used to treat mild to moderate abrasive slurries, providing good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for slurries containing fewer particles in the mill circuit.
MDU(Metal Liner): It is suitable for handling slurries containing more abrasive particles, with higher wear resistance and strength, and is suitable for more severe working conditions.

Impeller
Function: The impeller is the main power component of the pump, which is responsible for converting the rotational movement of the motor into liquid flow. The impeller design of MD pump focuses on the ability to pass large particles and high-efficiency hydraulic performance.
MDR(rubber liner): The rubber impeller is suitable for applications with low and moderate wear, which can effectively reduce wear and improve the processing capacity of the slurry.
MDU(metal liner): The metal impeller is suitable for highly abrasive slurry, which can withstand greater mechanical impact and wear and prolong the life of the impeller

Back Liner
Function: The back liner is used to protect the inside of the pump casing from the wear of the slurry, especially the wear-resistant particles. In MD series pumps, the material selection of the liner is crucial to the service life of the pump.
MDR(rubber liner): It is suitable for handling slurries with low to medium wear, providing excellent elasticity and wear resistance, and reducing maintenance costs.
MDU(metal liner): The metal back liner is suitable for higher abrasive or more erosive applications, providing strength and durability.

Bearing Assembly
Function: The bearing assembly is an important component of the slurry pump and is a key component to ensure the efficient operation of the equipment.Its bearings have excellent bearing capacity and anti-vibration performance, commonly used lubrication has grease lubrication, through the optimization of lubrication, the bearing assembly runs smoothly, extending the service life of the equipment, while reducing the need for maintenance, to ensure the stability and reliability of the equipment in harsh conditions.

Frame Plate
Function: The frame plate is one of the main spare parts of the pump and is used to accommodate the liquid flow path and other components.It withstands the liquid pressure and mechanical forces generated during the pumping process while providing a sturdy frame for the pump's operation.

Cover Plate
Function: The cover plate cooperation with the frame plate to from a sealed fluid cavity. It provides structural support during operation and facilitates the installation and removal of internal components, such as throatbush and impeller.

Throatbush
Function: The throatbush is designed to reduce the wear of the slurry on the cover plate. It optimizes the fluid path with impeller to reduce energy loss and extend the service life.

Frame Plate liner
Function: The frame plate liner is installed on the side of the frame plate and cooperates with the back liner to provide additional protection against the erosion and wear of the slurry. Its replaceable design reduces maintenance costs.

Cover Plate Liner
Function: The cover plate liner is located on the inside of the cover plate to protect the cover plate from slurry erosion and enhance the fluid sealing effect. The material can be made of wear-resistant alloy or natural rubber to meet the needs of different working conditions.

Suction Cover
Function: The suction cover is a diversion component at the inlet of the pump, which is responsible for guiding the slurry smoothly into the impeller area, reducing the loss of vortex and inlet pressure, and thus improving the overall pumping efficiency.

Impeller Release Collar
Function: The impeller release collar helps to quickly disassemble the impeller, simplify the maintenance process, and reduce downtime.
